National Backpack Program: At the beginning of every new school year, each North American Office Depot store distributes backpacks filled with school supplies to nonprofit organizations and local schools for underprivileged and at-risk children. Since the program's inception, Office Depot has placed 880,000 backpacks filled with school supplies in the hands of children across the U.S. and Canada.
Annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast: As part of the Star Teacher Program, teachers are invited to Office Depot's popular Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts, which take place in the weeks prior to the opening of school.
