Confirming Orders

There are three pages available to confirm and complete your order:

  1. Shopping Cart
  2. Checkout
  3. Order Confirmation
The Shopping Cart page appears whenever you click 'View Cart' on the side navigation bar. The "Shopping Cart" page allows you to review information about the items listed on your order, and provides the following options:
  • Quantity: This field can be used to adjust the item's quantity.
  • Comments: This field can be used to add comments specific to the item.
  • Remove: Placing a check in these boxes will remove the item(s) if the "Update Shopping Cart" button is clicked.
  • Save For Later: Clicking this button will add the item to a "Save for Later" Custom Shopping List which allows you to schedule an email to be sent to you reminding you when it's time to buy!
  • Continue Shopping: Takes you back to the home page.
  • Add to List: This adds the entire contents of the Shopping Cart to a Custom Shopping List for use later.
  • Empty Cart: Removes the contents of the Shopping Cart.
  • Update Shopping Cart: Saves any changes you made to the Shopping Cart.

To process your order, click "Checkout". The Checkout page appears.

Checkout
Here you should verify billing and shipping information. Your organization may require that you input PO Numbers, Cost Centers, etc. An asterisk to the right of the field indicates that the field is required to complete your order. If your organization has a list of entries to choose from, a "Select" button will take you to a list of valid entries.

Verify that all the information is correct, and then select one of the following options:
  • Place Order: Selecting 'Place Order' places the order.
  • Put this order on hold: Places the order in a hold status so that you can modify/complete the order later. If you are a "holdonly" user who's orders are approved, this button will read "Hold Order".
  • Select any other option on the top navigation bar and your items will remain in the Shopping Cart, but the order will not be submitted.




Order Confirmation

The order confirmation page confirms that your order was placed, displays the order number and order totals, contact and shipping information and provides five additional options:
  1. View Order Details for This Order: This will take you directly into the order details page in "Order Tracking: for this specific order.
  2. View Printer Friendly Order Detail: This provides a printable order detail without navigation bars and images - a real ink and toner saver!
  3. View Your Order History: This will take you directly into Order Tracking.
  4. View Your Account Information: This will take authorized users (Super Users) into the "Account Center" feature.
  5. ReOrder: Takes you to the Shopping Cart to place another order.
